Upcoming Events

Public Launch

The public launch will be held in conjunction with a trading festival at 3:00pm on June 9th. Our first choice for locations the Courtyard Gallery on Lexington. FBFC space could serve as a backup possibility.

Bobo Benefit

Kim got the "go ahead" from Brad for the orientation before the event. Joe brought printed posters. Kila is planning to notify AGR. Other major print media have already been contacted.

Julie will be making food for the benefit. Kim will be bringing one or more dips. Scott and Kila will bring a cookie platter.

Seedling Swap

Joe brought printed posters.

Directory Categories

A number of significant changes to the categorization of directory listings were consensed upon.

  • Child & Eldercare has gained subcategories for babysitting, education and toys.
  • Clothing has gained subcategories for costumes, education and tailoring.
  • Computer & Office has gained subcategories for administrative and education.
  • Crafts & Arts has gained subcategories for education, metal work and fiber arts while the music subcategory has been removed.
  • Education has been removed entirely.
  • Food has gained subcategories for baked goods, beverages, education and equipment while the preparation subcategory was changed to catering & prep.
  • Garden & Yard has gained subcategories for animals and education.
  • Household has gained subcategories for appliances, education, pets and sustainability.
  • Music has been added.
  • Social has gained subcategories for education and counseling/mediation while the communication subcategory was removed.
  • Toolshare has gained subcategories for education and lending while the tools, household and tools, industrial subcategories were removed.

Further adjustments will be made as necessary while the directory grows.

Finances

Kila, who has fronted the most money so far, was reimbursed $150. This leaves ~$40 on hand for upcoming expenses.
