Non LETS advertisements
Maybe we should make a community bd on website for LETS members' announcements. Should we try to accomodate folks trying to make straight trades? Should we have a section of web for that? Scott will investigate questionable entries further. We consensed that directory should be only for LETS related things and we'll contact the folks who are not following this and ask them to take their lisitngs down or make them appropriate. This will be the process for the future. We'll allow members 48 hrs after being contacted by phone and email to take down their listing then an administrator will.
Web
Scott's been backing up the system every few days. A lot of functionality is protected. Event logging documents activity. There are some security issues he is still working on. He uses PHP admin outside of the system and that info will be written down and passed to kila.
Outreach
Summer suggested the following targets - YWCA (already interested), Parks and Rec, Latino Learning Ctr, Emma Resource Ctr, Westwood, Farmer's Mkts, Building Bridges. She and Kila will work on a flyer for next orientation and post @ Health Dept, Ingles, bus stops, Manna Food Bank among others. Need someone bilingual. We'll get Cecilia to do what she can translating. Still try to get an article in La Voz if she'll help. The Black and white pamphlet is still being worked on. Still need to work on press release and tag line. Will try to all do this over email this week. The website has a good intro paragraph. Joe will do flyers for public launch and orientation. Summer will help with texts. What do we need in terms of skills? health care - acupuncture, corey pine mechanics Need a different inspiration list for summer that's less hippy. NEed to call La Vonne at WC Reid (KILA) and ASAP (JOE)
