Asheville LETS is off to a great start! We are entering 2008 with 275
exchanges under our belt - that's more than 3,000 LETS exchanged since
we launched last June. Meanwhile, 160 members have joined and the directory
now offers a variety of services from childcare to car repairs, growing
food to pet sitting and everything in between. But this is just the start!
2008 is going to be a huge year for our system as we build momentum, making
LETS a program that sustains and enriches our community.

== Get More From LETS ==
Asheville LETS is off to a great start but we need your help. Starting a
trade system autonomous from the dollar is revolutionary and you are a key
player in this innovative network. With all trade systems there is a
building period and as we enter this next year, lets come together as a
community to ensure the success of our local economic revolution!
We've hit the ground running but Asheville LETS is only as strong as its
members. With a little conscious effort you can make LETS work for you by
integrating it into your life. Please consider:
:: Checking out new offers and wants!!
:: Signing up for directory updates, opening your directory instead of the
yellow pages
:: Reading the newsletter, coming to a LETS event, mingling, making
friends, building community
:: Creating a new offer or want, volunteering for LETS, asking a friend to
join, recruiting someone with a special talent or skill
If you are interested in volunteering to help the system on a regular basis
or for special events, please contact help_ashevillelets.org. Get
involved... LETS can work for you!
